"User seals the opponent in a bubble of water, which slowly deals damage that worsens every turn."

"Okay...I guess I was wrong about the whole FUSEmon egg thing never being done before, as a few other FUSEmon scientists, including Prof. Dragonith, have gotten FUSEmon eggs before. In my defense, though, this was my first time actuslly dealing these these types of egg, so can understand my initial reaction."

"Speaking of eggs, the second of the eggs Prof. Surge gave me finally hatched...probably would've happened sooner if I had a Pokemon with Flame Body on me. And what ended up hatching fron said egg is...quite odd, to be honest. This is Mantakip, the Sea Critter FUSEmon."

"In terms of appearance, Mantakip seems to have carried over quite a few traits from Mudkip, from the overall build to the tailfin, which is now a backfin used for swimming stability, to Mudkip's downright infectious smile. It also wields Tentacool's tentacles, completely repurposed into twin tails for added swimming abilities. However, while heavily reduced in potency, those tails still hold minute amounts of poison. It's not really dangeorus; all it does is weaken predators/pursuers who are affected by it to allow for an easy getaway, but it's still something to take note of. There also seem to be these gem-like features adorned all over its body. They..really serve no purpose. They're just......there."

"Oh, and here's the big thing you absolutely NEED to know about Mantakip: It relies on water. I mean, it HEAVILY relies on water. Like, to the point where, if its ever out of the water for over two minutes, IT WILL DIE!!! All three of Mantakip's fusion components rely so heavily on water, that it forces Mantakip to remain in the water at all times! Water is literally its life source. On one hand, this means Manakip never has to eat, never gets sick, and could potentially has a longer lifespan than humans! On the other hand, being taken OUT of the water is basically a death sentence. Plus, having the water freeze or becoming polluted can also be deadly, so the 'water being its life source' thing is really a double-edged sword."

"As for its personality, Mantakip is quite the playful little thing, always swimming around, doing tricks, and just having a good time. Now, at first, I was highly worried that it was goning to get very lonely, since Mantakip is strictly bound to water and the only other FUSEmon I had that could survive underwater for long periods of time was Voettic. However, I was surprised to find that Mantakip had a secret trick up its sleeve: It seeming to have some telekinetic control over water. Meaning, if it ever wanted to roam around the lab, it could just create a bubble of water for itself and just float around in that. That way, it can mingle with the other FUSEmon wandering around should it want to! And you can tell by the smile that rarely leaves its face how much it truly appreciates that."

"And lastly, we have its battling capabilities. Mantakip...isn't that strong. I suppose you've already guessed that already just by looking at it, but it is NOT a battling FUSEmon by any stretch. Best it can really do is either use its water manipulating abilites to weaken attacks or try to take advantage of its Drench ability, and even then, it still doesn't last very long. (Tested via Battle Simulator. Battles are way too risky for Mantakip's survival.) There is one exception, however. It would only use it in the most dire of situations, but if things get REALLY rough, it whips out its ace, its signature move: Drown Cage. Drown Cage is essentially a Water-typed Toxic. However, unlike Toxic, instead of making the opponent succumb to posion, it more or less DROWNS THEM! The shock of essentially drowning is usually so great, it renders the opponent completely helpless, and it gives just enough time for Mantakip to make a quick getaway. Its really unnerving if you think about it..."

"In summary, this is just another cute addition to my ever-growing FUSEmon family. And you know what, I may like those big, destructive, powerful FUSEmon...stuff like this certainly isn't too bad either. See ya next time, folks!"
--------------------------------------------------
Yeah...not really much to say about this one. Just another one of the several FUSEmon I've been working on. So...enjoy! :)

(Also, any comment that says snarky things about its tails will be hidden. I don't want any of that kind of humor here. B/ )
