SLOTS OPEN - 4/5

-------------------------------------------- Alright, so I've been meaning to update my commissions page for the longest time, and since all of my commissions slot are free at the moment, I figured I'd go ahead and finally give it a complete overhaul and a fresh new look.

While all the guidelines and stuff are the same, the one major thing I did update are the prices. Yeah, everything went up, but that's only to better reflect the amount of time I spend working on these commissions.

Either way, that's all I wanted to say. Thank you all so much for your support, and I'll see you all next time! Take care! ^_^

...for this special announcement.

So, about a year ago (give or take), a good friend of mine asked me to help out with a special project he was working on. It's...something I'm very proud to have worked on; I put a lot of my heart and soul into helping bring this to life.

...The time has come for me to share that project with you all.

On Saturday, January 4th at 5:00 PM (EST), I will update this journal with a link to the project's debut when it goes live. So, for those of you who like my work...get excited! ^_^

(UPDATE)
IT'S TIME!

Also, I've been playing Pokemon Sword and it's great!

Hey, all! How's it going?

It's been a good while since I've made proper journal, so I figured it was high time to share what's been going on lately.

Moving Forward While Looking Back

As I'm sure you all are well aware by this point, I've been going in hard on my retread of my old Sapio Region project. Needless to say, I'm so happy that you guys are enjoying it so far. I've been having a blast with these new designs, and I'm super excited to continue sharing more of what I've got in store for you. And it won't just be the fakemon either. Once I've gotten through most of my fakemon backlog, I reckon I'll start handling the re-treads of stuff like the Gym Leaders and other characters. I have some ideas in mind for them, I just need to get them down on paper. Either way, I hope you're looking forward to what other surprises I have in store.

Getting Schooled

In other news, university classes have started for me again a couple weeks ago, which of course that, as I start treading deeper into the semester, my upload schedule is going to slow down a fair bit. I'm sure that won't mean a thing to folks who have been with me a long time, but compared to how quickly I've been getting things up recently, it'll definitely start feeling more like a crawl (especially after I get through my backlog of pre-made stuff).
However...there is one thing of note here that I'd like to mention. Since I'm currently in my Junior year of university and have started working my way into the more advanced classes of my Game Design major, the projects have been getting more and more involved, and for my Advanced Game Workshop class, I (along with the rest of my group) am going to be continuously working on one big game project over the course of the semester...and I want to share some of that with you guys. Granted, I don't know how much I'll be able to show, but I would like to try and give you guys a sneak peek at what i'm working on, if for no other reason than to show off just how involved I've gotten with my dream career.

SHAMELESS ADVERTISING

And last on my agenda today is a friendly little reminder that commissions are still open! Honestly, I should have been a little bit more frequent with this over the course of the summer just to keep it relatively fresh in people's minds, but I've been making the rounds earlier today trying to spread the word and I figured I may as well do that here as well. For those interested, check out the link below for more details:
The Commission Mission [OPEN]
So...yeah...we're actually doing this. I am officially taking commissions now, and this journal is going to be what keeps track of everything: the type of art I'll offer, the guidelines, the commission slots, etc. Not gonna lie, I'm both super excited and super nervous about all this; it's a lot to take in and I've never done this sort of thing before. Still, my hopes are high and I've done my research, so hopefully everything works out okay. However, before we get into get into the nitty-gritty of what I'm going to be offering, let me set a few ground rules so that there's (hopefully) no confusion:
Bullet; Black You MUST send me a DA note detailing all of the information needed for whatever you're commissioning. I'll get more in-detail later, but this will help give me a solid starting point.
Bullet; Black Only ONE commission per person.

**This means eithe

(If nothing else, try and spread the word to people you think might be interested. Even the smallest bit of attention helps. ^_^)

So yeah, that's all I've got to share with you guys time time around! Enjoy the rest of the week, guys, and I'll see you all for whatever I've got in store next! Take care, everyone!

Bullet; Black You MUST send me a DA note detailing all of the information needed for whatever you're commissioning. I'll get more in-detail later, but this will help give me a solid starting point.
Bullet; Black Only ONE commission per person.

**This means either only ONE Standard FUSEmon OR Concept Sheet per person.
Bullet; Black First come, first serve. Once all of the slots have been filled, I won't take anymore commissions until the most or all of the clients on the list have had their commissions completed.
**I will update the journal when this happens, and again when the slots have opened up again.
Bullet; Black I have the right to decline your commissions should the piece prove too difficult to complete OR if something happens outside of my control.
**On a sub-note, if this happens after you've already paid for a commission, I will offer a full refund.
Bullet; Black Payment must be made IN ADVANCE before I start working on your commission. This is to avoid someone asking me for a commission and then vanishing on me without paying.
Bullet; Black I will only be accepting payments through PayPal.
Bullet; Black Out of courtesy, please be patient with me regarding when your commission will be done. Keep in mind that I'm an active college student, so my drawing schedule may be irregular at times. Though, of course, I'll always try to get your commissions done as soon as possible.
Bullet; Black While I'm open to working on just about anything, there are certain things that I will NOT draw:
  -Mature Content/Fetish material
-Over-complicated/Over-detailed designs (Yes, I realize it's ME saying that.)

**If there IS something that you'd like to commission that's not one of the options listed below, send me a note and we'll work it out.

I think that covers just about everything. So, with all that said, let's get into the details.

COMMISSION DETAILS

So, like I said in the first guideline, before commissioning something from me, you need to send me a DA note FIRST detailing all of the information listed below:
-Commissioner Name (A.K.A.: Your DA username)
-PayPal Email (Ex: paypal@email.com)
**Note: Alternatively, you can also use your normal email address if you don't have a PayPal one. It SHOULD work just fine, though PayPal is recommended.

-Commission Details (Fusion components, descriptions, bios, etc.)
-Reference Images (For example, if you're commissioning me to make FUSEmon based off of a specific thing or draw one of your own characters, just make sure to give a reference image for that to give me a good foundation as to where to start)
-Additional Info (Any other details that you'd like to address with me before moving forward.)

Once you send me the note, I'll look over everything to make sure everything checks out, and then let you know if either you're all set or if there's something else I want to discuss with you. Also, DO NOT SEND ME YOUR PAYMENT UNTIL AFTER I CONFIRM EVERYTHING, as I want to make sure everything is calculated accordingly before giving the final confirmation. Once you get the "all-clear", that's when I'll send you an invoice on PayPal and you can proceed with the payment.

I also make it a habit to try and preview the work-in-progress of the commission in question with you, just to make sure if everything looks okay or not. It's a sort of quality checking measure to make sure the piece comes out as good as possible while also making sure it's exactly what you (the commissioner) asked and paid for.

And, of course, if you have any questions you'd like to ask me concerning these guidelines, please feel free to let me know and I'll be more than happy to answer as best I can.

Hey, all! What's up? It's been a good while since I've updated this journal, huh?

Anyways, there's been something that's been brewing in my head for a while, and I kinda want to give this idea a spin and see how well it goes. I'm not sure how this is going to go, but I'm hoping that this proves fruitful.

What is this idea, you ask? Well...simply put...I'M CONSIDERING TAKING ON COMMISSIONS! Like, for real, I'm serious. And the reason I'm putting this out there is...college is an EXPENSIVE endeavor, and while I've been getting by so far (and this is over the course of 6 years, mind you), and I'm hoping that taking commissions will at least help me out with finishing college...at least a little bit. Plus, it'd also be a nice way to both add some variety to my art AND possibly give me a solid portfolio to work with...so, why not?

HOWEVER...nothing is set in stone yet! For starters, I want to see what you guys think of the idea and whether or not you'd support it or not. And also...I've never attempted something like this before, so I'm not sure if there's anything special I'd need to set up for stuff like this or what my prices are going to be. That's still going to take a bit of deliberation to figure out. But when I DO figure all that out, and if there's enough support towards the idea...I'll gladly welcome it.

So please, let me know what you all think down in the comments: Would you be open to the idea of me opening up commissions? And, to those that have already done commissions of their own, is there anything I would need to look into before getting started if I do go forward with this? Any information and feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, and I'll see you guys soon!

Signed,
SuperSonicGX
